Monday's Split–Vis ferry is announced for 19:30 instead of 18:30. On Tuesday, 13 October, the early Hvar catamaran leaves from Stari Grad rather than Jelsa. Whether it will call at Bol is not expected to be confirmed until 45 minutes before departure.

Tuesday's early Hvar catamaran leaves from a different port

For Tuesday, 13 October, HAK announces that route 9603 will depart at 06:00 from Stari Grad rather than Jelsa. Whether the catamaran will also call at Bol on its way to Split is to be announced only 45 minutes before departure, depending on the weather. In the information reviewed, Bol is therefore neither firmly confirmed nor already cancelled.

If you need to travel early, establish the departure port and how to get there in good time. The information so far is not sufficient for boarding at Bol; the announced update works out to 05:15. Plan an alternative in case the connection from your starting point does not operate.

Vis later – and a separate notice for Thursday

On Monday, 12 October, the Split–Vis ferry is due to depart at 19:30 instead of 18:30. For Thursday, 15 October, HAK also lists Split–Rogač at 21:30 instead of 20:30. These changes explicitly concern different days and connections.

The Stari Grad–Bol–Split route announced on Monday morning is now part of that day's timeline. It does not mean Bol will also be served on Tuesday. HAK's general status line reports no maritime traffic problems at 15:38 on 12 October; it does not override the changes listed separately.

The Bura forecast is not a list of cancellations

DHMZ's maritime bulletin issued at 12 on 12 October warns of local Bura and northerly gusts of 35 to 50 knots, reaching 60 knots below Velebit. Thunderstorms are also possible, particularly on the open sea. These are local peak gusts in a dated forecast, not a wind speed prevailing constantly everywhere.

A weather warning alone does not establish that a particular ferry is cancelled. Conversely, a scheduled catamaran that is operating is not a safety benchmark for small leisure boats or SUP. For your own activities, local warnings, conditions and suitable equipment matter.

Check four details together before setting off

Date, route, port and time belong together. Also check with the operator whether a different arrival changes your land connection or pickup arrangements. When a change is announced late, confirmation for your own booking is more useful than a screenshot of a general weekly timetable.

This article documents the stated afternoon update and is not an automatically updating traffic feed. Before travelling later, you therefore need to check the operator's information again.
