A Studenac notice for Bonkulović on 11 October adds to the Lidl recall. Pack size and lot number must match exactly. Listeria has been detected in the Lidl product; Studenac is recalling products because of a suspicion.

Two notices with different scopes

On 11 October, HAPIH published another Croatian State Inspectorate notice concerning Dalmatian pancetta. Studenac is recalling two Bonkulović products because of suspected Listeria monocytogenes. The manufacturer is MIJUKIĆ-PROM from Runović. The notice adds to the previously announced Lidl recall of 8 October but does not replace its product details.

A suspicion is not the same statement as a confirmed detection. For the Lidl product, the official notice reports detected Listeria. The Studenac notice explicitly refers to a suspicion. Both recalls are limited to the specified products and batches, not all meat products from a manufacturer or retailer.

Studenac: distinguish the 100-gram pack from the larger portion

For “DALMATINSKA PANCETA REZANA 100g MAP BONKULOVIĆ”, HAPIH lists LOT918MUR and LOT918MVP. For “DALMATINSKA PANCETA CCA 350g VP BONKULOVIĆ”, the lots are LOT918MXH, LOT918N1Y, LOT918MUX, LOT918MUS, LOT918MXK, LOT918MRJ and LOT918MPW.

LOT918MXH appears twice in the official list; it is listed once here. The Studenac notice reviewed does not give an additional shelf-life date. Do not transfer the Lidl date to these packs. Compare the full product name, size and lot number.

Lidl: the existing batch remains clearly identified

At Lidl Hrvatska, the recall concerns “Dalmatinska panceta, narezak, 100 g” under the “Okusi zavičaja” brand, lot L918M0H, with the shelf-life date 15.12.2026. The character immediately before the H in the lot number is a zero. MIJUKIĆ-PROM is also the manufacturer here.

Lidl confirms returns at any of its Croatian stores and a refund with or without a receipt. This retailer commitment applies to the Lidl recall. Without separate confirmation, it must not be presented as an identical Studenac returns policy.

What to do with a matching pack

Do not eat the contents of an affected pack. Keep the packaging and batch details available and clarify the return with the respective retailer.
